Mastering Customization Complexity
How to build a digital thread for configurable products with PTC and Configit
Manufacturers today face growing product complexity and increasing customer demand for customization. To manage this effectively, they need a digital thread for configurable products – a connected flow of configuration-specific data that links engineering, manufacturing, service, and sales.
In this webinar, Florian Harzenetter, Senior Director, Global Industry Advisor at PTC and Sigrún Ívarsdóttir, Product Manager at Configit will explain how leading manufacturers are integrating systems such as PLM, ERP, MES, and CPQ to establish a globally shared, validated data foundation for managing variant-rich products. Drawing on real-world examples, they will show how a digital thread bridges engineering logic and commercial intent to improve collaboration and decision-making across the organization.
Attendees will learn how Configit’s Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) complements PTC’s PLM by breaking down silos between engineering and sales, aligning teams around a common configuration model, and ensuring data consistency across the product lifecycle.
