Henrik is CTO and Co-founder of Configit A/S and responsible for the overall technology vision for Configit.
Henrik holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and is an Associate Professor of Computer Science.
He is an author of more than 25 academic papers and articles.

The CLM Platform is a unified system for accessing configuration data, pricing and products from different systems such as SAP ERP and Configit Ace through a set of standard APIs. The platform offers storage and versioning of all released data, and supports scalability and load balancing for providing high performance configuration functionality.
In this presentation, I will give an overview of the features of the CLM Platform and show examples of how to use it to build web-based configuration applications with product logic and pricing data from different sources such as SAP ERP and Configit Ace.
Jesper is Product Director in Configit and is leading the execution of the overall product strategy, ensuring integration and alignment between products.
Jesper holds a PhD in Computer Science and has worked with configuration lifecycle management at Configit for over 15 years.
Jesper has extensive knowledge about rule-based systems, CPQ solutions, SAP variant configuration, and modeling and pricing of complex products.
Before his role as a Product Director, he worked as a Product Manager for Configit’s CPQ product Quote and as a Solutions Architect in Configit’s Delivery department.

For Kohler Engines to scale and grow, relying on product SKUs kept in multiple systems to develop configurations was no longer an option. Kohler Engines developed and implemented a CPQ solution to capture intellectual property, improve time to quote, and align product requirements and design delivery.
In this presentation, Paolo Costantini will introduce the opportunities, benefits, lessons learned from this CPQ implementation and focus on the further steps to leverage it into a fully integrated IT-landscape.
Paolo has a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering and over 20 years experience in business application systems, including the rollout of multiple, cross-functional projects through Italy, France, Spain, Germany, UK, Slovakia, and India.
As part of the Kohler IT management team, Paolo is responsible for the information technology department in Italy of the Kohler Engines EMEA division.
He coordinates and collaborates with the business team to maximize performance of engine operations and align infrastructure technologies and business applications to the strategic group guidelines.

Volker Schnittler of VDMA will discuss the mechanisms behind this rising need for product variants, and will give insight and advice on how to best manage this growing complexity.
Since 2001, Volker Schnittler has been working as a consultant for commercial business software at the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA). Serving as the main contact person for VDMA’s 3,200 members, Mr. Schnittler fields questions on all aspects of ERP software.
Prior to joining VDMA, Mr. Schnittler spent more than 10 years as an IT manager in a medium-sized company, before moving to an ERP software provider for the next three years.
In addition to completing training as a computer science business economist (VWA), Mr. Schnittler is a skilled toolmaker and master machine builder, and member of the Research Advisory Board of fir (Aachen).

Anand is an experienced Principal Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. We will give an overview of the current implementation status of Configit Quote within Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) including the move to SaaS.
In addition, we will explain how -via a proof of concept with Configit and its partners Cadac and Coolshop- we have designed end-to-end 3D visualization using CAD drawings as a basis, integrating it with our PDM system and ultimately with our Configit Quote application.
Ralf de Greef is IT Delivery Manager for Market to Order Sales applications at Signify. In this role he is responsible for the implementation of IT solutions in the Sales domain and its successful deployment to the Philips Lighting business.
Ralf previously held a position as IT program manager and successfully implemented Configit Quote within Signify.
Earlier in his career as a consultant, Ralf has been involved in implementing global SAP solutions mainly in the area of CRM.
Steven Hoppenbrouwers is IT Architect for Sales applications at Signify. In this role he is responsible for the selection of IT solutions in the Sales domain and its successful deployment to the Philips Lighting business.
Steven previously held a position as Lead Architect Sales for Royal Philips Electronics.
Earlier in his career as a consultant for a leading consulting firm, Steven has been involved in building B2B e-commerce solutions for configurable products.
