Harnessing Gen-AI for Faster and Smarter Product Development
In this session, we will introduce Gen-AI and its integration with Configit’s product configuration technology, demonstrating how it accelerates the development of configurable products.
A key highlight will be a real-time demonstration of Ace Copilot, showcasing how it can convert a static product PDF into a fully functional product model and configuration application in under 10 minutes. This capability allows manufacturers to quickly prototype and develop new product features with improved speed and efficiency.
Additionally, we will touch on Configit Lab, an innovation center launched in 2024 to explore next-generation CLM solutions. As a key initiative, Configit Lab is investigating how Gen-AI, through Ace Copilot, can transform product development processes.

At the 2024 CLM Summit, Jesper Blak Møller, provided three approaches to migrating SAP LO-VC models to SAP AVC leveraging the power of Configit Ace®.
This year, Jesper will review these migration strategies and assess some of the new challenges that have emerged. In particular, the challenge of consuming SAP AVC models in front-end systems and how CLM helps ensuring consistency and alignment of data from engineering through sales, manufacturing and service.

Digital Configuration Threads – The Backbone of Next-Gen Manufacturing
In manufacturing, value is delivered cross functionally, but work is performed in isolated siloes with their own systems and processes. Digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and improve customer experience face the challenge of collecting and collating data from multiple systems in different formats.
The Digital Thread was introduced to address this need and provide full insight and traceability end-to-end for product changes.
In this session, we will explore a new concept called the Digital Configuration Thread. This is a type of digital thread focused on product configuration options and rules and how they evolve over the full lifecycle of the product from engineering to sales, manufacturing and service over time.
