Historically, the company relied on engineer-to-order processes, which created complexity and limited scalability. In addition, product data was siloed within SAP, making it difficult to share information across business units and optimize the overall customer experience.

Enabled a Configure-to-Order Process

The partnership began more than a decade ago and has evolved through multiple stages of technological advancement.
Initially, the company implemented Configit Model® and the SAP Extractor to enable a configure-to-order process and expose SAP data within a B2B configurator. This innovation replaced manual engineering steps with automated, rules-based configuration.

Allowed a Seamless Integration with PIM Data

With the transition to Configit Ace®, the company is now able to reimagine its configuration models and involve teams from sales and marketing in model development. The move to Ace also enables seamless integration with PIM data and greater accessibility of product information across departments. The upcoming launch will feature a new Configit Ace®-based solution aligned with an upgraded SAP S/4HANA system.
