Configit A/S, the global leader in Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM), today announced its newest customer the NORD DRIVESYSTEMS GROUP. NORD is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of drive technologies. Employing more than 4,000 people globally, NORD produces gears and industrial gears, electric motors, frequency inverters, motor starters and frequency inverters for decentralized drive control.
With complexity increasing in their product offerings, solutions, and markets, NORD needed to streamline internal processes between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SAP, and external processes with partners.

The goal of this new platform solution from Configit is to enable both internal stakeholders and external dealers and partners to sell complex products faster and easier. Using this new CPQ solution will also help optimize NORD’s product models.
With aggressive growth targets in the next five years, NORD realized the need to reduce complexity and enable their large dealer network to configure and sell NORD’s products faster and easier in a fully digitized process.

NORD’s existing product configurator in their web site and web shop environment will be replaced by Configit’s modeling platform and Configit Quote® for product configuration at run-time seamlessly integrated into SAP.
