Configit Inc Announces New President, Scott Daniel Perdue
16 Year Information Technology Veteran Joins US Headquarters
Configit Inc, today announced the appointment of Scott Perdue as President of Configit Inc, starting April 14, 2014. Mr. Perdue brings more than 16 years working in Information Technology for manufacturing companies, 5 of which entailed configuration technology and SAP Variant Configuration.
Configit worked directly with Mr. Perdue in his previous role as Applications Team Lead for Configured Products at Baldor Electric Company. In addition to serving as SAP Variant Configuration Knowledge Expert and Team Lead for Baldor’s Configuration Team, Perdue was responsible for building and supporting complex product configurators and guided selling tools across various product lines.

His transition from customer to employee gives us insight into industry requirements and a new perspective on how we can better strengthen our skills and understanding of SAP platforms used by Configit customers,” stated Lars Hoegsted, CEO, Configit Inc..

Mr. Perdue was born and raised in Fayetteville, GA and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia in Athens. Scott is the current president of CWG, the SAP Configuration Work Group, and he will be an asset for further developing the partnership between Configit and SAP. His wife and two children will be relocating to Atlanta from Greenville, SC and look forward to being closer to family in Georgia.
