The Baldor VIP portal is the key access point for OEM customers in 70 countries and Baldor uses Configit Server and SDK for SAP to provide the best in class user experience for online configuration and pricing of Baldor solutions. The Baldor VIP portal development team uses the Configit SDK to include SAP configurators in VIP portal web applications.

Configit Server for SAP and Configit SDK for SAP allow Baldor to design and develop very user friendly web applications with the latest Ajax and .NET technologies while using configuration defined in SAP.

The technology also ensures generic applications that support any configurators defined on the SAP platform. This removes dependencies between application development for the VIP portal and product data definitions in SAP
