Configit A/S, the global leader in Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) announced today its first cloud CPQ customer Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). “With this project, we have started a new, important journey,” said Dr. Markus Lindemann, General Manager, DACH Region, Configit. “With the integration of cloud in our CPQ solution, Configit now offers the most flexible deployment options in the industry.”
With Configit’s SaaS and Cloud software applications, Heidelberg’s product and service offering as part of digitization will be moved to the next level. Configit’s solutions will support the implementation of their overall business strategy. Configit’s Quote CPQ product will be implemented globally in two phases. The first phase will include service selling containing enhanced pricing capabilities. The second phase will further extend Configuration Lifecycle Management using Configit Ace, Confgit’s enterprise product modeling software.
“When we first met Configit at Smart Variant in 2015, we were very impressed with their products and solutions,” said Klaus Wagenführer, Head of IT solutions for Sales, Service & Marketing, Heidelberg. “On top, it was their approach and dedication to being trusted partners and deeply understanding our needs for the right solution.”
“Heidelberg is transforming the printing business by making full use of digitization,” added Lindemann, “while Configit is transforming the configuration space with VT, CLM and next-generation digital solutions. Therefore both companies also agreed on a strategic partnership.”
