Configit to Host CLM Summit

September 8-10, 2015.
Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge and Resort.

Configit is proud to sponsor the first ever Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) Summit to connect industry thought leaders and elite researchers in formulating a joint consensus leading to a CLM Declaration for Configuration Lifecycle Management as the discipline of handling ever more configurable and complex products throughout a product lifecycle.

The event is invitation only and has been extended to an exclusive group working with Enterprise Configuration Platforms during an era where the catalog is dead and product options and complexity are exploding.  Today, product complexity and variance is managed in silos, and the disconnect between these different aspects are at the core of CLM.

The CLM Summit is designed for technology strategists and business developers within four core arenas; automotive, industrial machinery and components, aerospace and defense, and other heavily regulated industries.

“We created this event to foster dialogue on the key challenges facing these industries and to define the scope for creating a CLM declaration containing insights into industry practices, solutions, and new technologies as well as a scale for benchmarking CLM capabilities” stated Configit Co-Founder and CEO, Henrik Reif Andersen.    “We want to establish CLM as a business discipline that links product facing platforms (i.e., PLM and ERP), customer facing platforms (i.e., CRM), and e-businesses to a single source of truth for configurable products,” added Reif.

Speakers will provide unique, cutting edge insights in an open forum where knowledge sharing and information gathering will be encouraged and available.

The event location, Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge, is situated along the shores of Georgia’s Great Lake, just 45 minutes outside of Atlanta and features a multitude of experiences including an award-winning golf course, zipline and canopy tours, swimming and more.
