Configit and Cadac Group Announce Strategic Partnership
Powerful new configuration solutions for both construction and manufacturing industries
Configit A/S, the global leader in configuration lifecycle management (CLM), and Cadac Group, a leading solution provider for creating, managing, and sharing digital design information, announced today a strategic partnership to bring powerful configuration solutions to the construction industry that leverage the value of configure-to-order workflows.
“After noticing a convergence of trends between the construction and manufacturing industries, we explored extensively how we could help our customers leverage these efficiencies,” said Paul Smeets, CTO at Cadac Group. “It became clear that the only company with both the technology know-how and similar corporate vision was Configit.”
A specialist in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digital Manufacturing, Cadac Group has built an integration of Configit’s configurator with Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Inventor with a resulting solution that is offered via the Cloud. This ground-breaking solution, called Cadac Modules Suite, is already being used by the Royal BAM Group, the largest construction company in the Netherlands, and will be offered to Cadac Group’s 1,600 customers starting November 2017.
