Configit Obtains ISO 27001 and ISO 27017 Certification
Certifications Reaffirm Configit’s Commitment to Data Security
COPENHAGEN, Denmark, 8 December 2022 – Configit, the global leader in Configuration Lifecycle Management, today announced it has both successfully retained their ISO 27001 certification and obtained an ISO 27017 certification. With the new ISO 27017 certification, Configit provides assurance to their customers that the information processed in the cloud is secure. The audit and certification process was performed by Intertek Certification Ltd. and conforms with international standards.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental, international body that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems. Issued and maintained by the ISO, the ISO 27000 standards are some of the most widely recognized and internationally accepted information security standards, with ISO 27001:2013 considered the highest standard of information security as it relates to customer data and ISO 27017:2022 as it relates to keeping their cloud customers safer.
With this certification, the company has proven to fulfill the requirements for the scope as listed in the certification scope statement delivered by Configit:
Provision of Configit’s Virtual Tabulation® multi patented configuration technology supports Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) as well as other software products, services, consulting, operations and support, and solutions as a cloud customer and provider in accordance with Statement of Applicability (SOA) version 1.3.
